Option III moves high school start times 13 minutes later to 7:30 AM and, with the exception of Hebron-Harman Elementary School and Meade Heights Elementary School, moves all elementary, middle, and special/alternative school start times 15 minutes later. The times for these two elementary schools would be adjusted to allow all elementary schools to dismiss no later than 4:00 PM.

This option would result in four middle schools dismissing after 4:00 PM:

• Magothy River Middle School: 4:05PM
• Old Mill Middle School North: 4:05 PM
• Old Mill Middle School South: 4:05 PM
• Severn River Middle School: 4:05PM

This option would also result in two special/alternative schools dismissing after 4:00 PM:

• Mary Moss @ J. Albert Adams Academy: 4:25 PM
• Marley Glen Special: 4:10 PM

This option would require an additional 22 buses to accommodate the high school trips currently using available non-public buses that would not be available with the later high school start time and the movement of the two elementary schools. Using the projected 2018 annual cost per bus of $61,806 for a bus without an attendant (20 buses) and $82,513 for a bus with an attendant (2 buses), the total cost of this option would be $1,401,146.
